Our PSHE curriculum aims to:

  • Develop children’s sense of identity and ensures that they have opportunities to develop their own moral compass in order that they believe in themselves as individuals.
  • Develop children’s understanding of fundamental British Values, learning to accept differences of religion, culture, sexuality and socio-economic groups in order that they feel like they belong to a community that celebrates diversity and respect.
  • Ensure all children leave school better prepared for their next step in the wider world and become citizens who make positive contributions to their communities.

Children are taught on a weekly basis with objectives grouped under 3 main strands:

1. Health and Wellbeing

2. Relationships

3. Living in the Wider World.
